Cockroach Tarpon Fly
One of the oldest and most classic tarpon flies of all time is the Cockroach Tarpon Fly. It is easy to cast and the way the tail is constructed gives the fly incredible movement when retrieved.
 
This fly is generally tied in natural and dark colors. Use tan and grizzly for clean water and black, red, and purple for murky water.
