The Tarpon Toad
The Tarpon Toad fly was designed by Gary Merriman. The toad is a lightweight, slow-sinking fly designed for sight-casting. It is a great fly for sight casting to Tarpon and is a popular fly pattern in the Florida Keys. The Toad’s crab-like head and fluttering marabou tail have proven themselves time and time again when kept in the tarpon’s immediate line of vision. Offered in several fish catching colors. Use darker colors in murky or off-colored water. Tied on premium Daiichi stainless steel hooks.
