Flatwing Sand Eel
Sand Eel flies are key patterns for striped bass, bonito, seabass, salmon, and other species that feed heavily on sand lance or "sand eels". The flat wing is one of our "go to" patterns for striped bass. This fly is also a deadly fly for bonito and false albacore. Sand Eels are found along the Atlantic coast and are a main food source for striped bass. They congregate in large masses and striped bass love them.
