The Sneaky Pete is indeed a fantastic fly pattern for both largemouth and smallmouth bass. Its subtle wiggle motion, combined with the rubber legs, makes it irresistible to these fish. Size 4 or Size 8 are standard sizes. The rubber legs provide movement and attract attention. Effective color variations are White: Effective for imitating baitfish, Green: Resembles frogs or other amphibians, or Black: Great for low-light conditions or when bass are feeding on dark-colored prey.
